Deepening your Mindfulness Meditation Practice - Selected Resources

This page is dedicated to students who wish to go deeper in their Mindfulness Meditation practice. The books I have curated below are among the ones that have been most meaningful to me in my meditation path. While all these are excellent books, websites, and podcasts, a few stand out to me personally. They include:

  • Ethan Nichtern’s The Road Home Podcast, a thoughtful series of dharma talks as well as interviews with thought leaders in mindfulness meditation, Buddhist philosophy and practice, and topics related to society, culture, and the arts.

  • Timber Hawkeye’s Faithfully Religionless, a book that explores what it means to have a spirituality without the need to embrace a specific belief system or set of religious dogmas.

  • Pema Chödrön’s When Things Fall Apart, a guide to life when the worst things happen in life. While the book goes deep, giving practical advice on navigating death, tragedy, and loss, it does to in an easy-to-read and accessible way. I have found it invaluable when I have had my most precious things in life “fall apart”.
