Deepening your Mindfulness Meditation Practice - Selected Resources
This page is dedicated to students who wish to go deeper in their Mindfulness Meditation practice. The books I have curated below are among the ones that have been most meaningful to me in my meditation path. While all these are excellent books, websites, and podcasts, a few stand out to me personally. They include:
Ethan Nichtern’s The Road Home Podcast, a thoughtful series of dharma talks as well as interviews with thought leaders in mindfulness meditation, Buddhist philosophy and practice, and topics related to society, culture, and the arts.
Timber Hawkeye’s Faithfully Religionless, a book that explores what it means to have a spirituality without the need to embrace a specific belief system or set of religious dogmas.
Pema Chödrön’s When Things Fall Apart, a guide to life when the worst things happen in life. While the book goes deep, giving practical advice on navigating death, tragedy, and loss, it does to in an easy-to-read and accessible way. I have found it invaluable when I have had my most precious things in life “fall apart”.
